Bob Woodward ended his TED talk with this chilling quote from Nixon.  I’m not sure Stephen King could have written a better line. It’s at once poetic, tragic and human; a message and warning to those that come after.

To grow we accept, examine and learn from our failures as much — possibly even more —than we do from our successes. It’s easy to write off Nixon as irredeemable, a total failure, and a corrupt paranoid. That is certainly my inclination, and yet this quote is reminiscent of Mandela and Gandhi and I can’t help but find the grace and even some redemption in his words.
